Comments about Work Gloves - Men's Carpenter's Gloves:
I use the gloves along w/ arm guards due to the rough conditions I work in. The two combined have almost totally eliminated multiple cuts and scraps to both my hands and forearms. Most of my mechanic applications require I get both my hands and at least half of my forearms into tight areas w/ sharp edges everywhere. Great product. I now own two pair of each, one set for the shop & one in my motorcycle.

I bought these to use as shooting gloves while hunting. I needed good palm protection from thorns in the Wyoming plains. They worked great, no thorns, held up well and still allowed me to shoot unhindered. Might just have to buy another pair!

When I'm in the middle of Africa is not the time to find out that the gloves you bought for a six month electrical remodel job aren't going to last the first month. Trusting Duluth to provide a a great product I bought a pair and proceeded to run several thousand feet of rigid conduit. Other than the seem showing wear I was surprised that I was able to get the protection I needed from the gloves. So was the crew, when I ordered another set I had to order several more for the crew.

Comments about Work Gloves - Men's Carpenter's Gloves:
These gloves are very durable, and in my job (stagehand) I really put them to the test. I carry a lot of heavy objects, and build large sets for theaters, arenas, etc., and they really save my hands from cuts and splinters. They have great grip with almost no slipping, and padded knuckles for more protection. The wear pads sewn on the outside extend the life, but they also eventually start to separate from the gloves and can get caught on points and protrusions, so they last for about 4-6 months of moderate use. I don't always work 40-hour weeks (sometimes twice that, often half that) so they might not last as long with everyday use. Still, they really help protect and provide superior grip. A few years ago they were less durable, but after I pointed out that the stitching was inferior, I believe they changed the thread used to attach the wear pads. I still would like to see some made with monofilament stitching for even longer life. The fingers can be a bit bulky on the full-fingered gloves, so I buy the carpenter style with 2 fingers and thumb exposed. This really improves dexterity and helps when pounding nails, bolting things together, or pulling screws, etc. from my nail pouches. Also, I have large hands and most big box stores carry only smaller sizes which don't fit me. Duluth carries sizes to fit bigger guys like me, so as long as they keep responding to customer input, I will keep buying from them.

I wear through the name-brand $30 carpenter gloves in just a few weeks. These DTPro gloves lasted two seasons of everyday wear while building log homes in Alaska.

Comments about Work Gloves - Men's Carpenter's Gloves:
I pick them up to shoot tactical matches in the cold weather, because the thumb and index finger are open it is easier to reload magazines and work the trigger and safety. I wish they came in Flat Dark Earth (tan), but some Krylon will fix that in a jiff. Thanks for a great product.
