Men's Sizing Charts

Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

Shallow Pockets

I have 5 or 6 pairs of these pants from previous years which I have worn through. These pants replace Duluth's Lightweight work pants from last year. The front pockets are shallower this year so stuff falls out when you are driving or squatting. Waist is elasticated so pants fall down when pockets have tools in them unless a tight belt is worn with them.

These were my first pair of DT Pants. They are very comfortable, much cooler than jeans. I took the "We dare you to wear them out" Guarantee to task on the farm. It took about 3 months of daily use on my farm (throwing hay and milking) to wear through the thighs. [...]. Have since bought several more pair to rotate through the week. As long as they honor that guarantee, they've got a loyal customer here.

Amazing pants!

These are my favorite pants! I wish they came in more colors, and I would buy them all. They work well, go out well and the hardest part is not wearing them. The pockets are nice and big, they fit all of my stuff (knife, cell phone, radio, wallet, keys and misc other items.

I plan on buying more of these pants in the near future.

Don't sacrifice durability for comfort!

Poor Quality

Owned since 5/2008. Paid more for these than regular Firehose work pants going for now, hoping for more warm-weather comfort. Comfortable, but they wore out by the end of a year -- too quickly for the money. The cuffs frayed, pockets got holes, wear holes in front & crotch. Might be OK for casual office or light indoor use, but for real work, don't get these.

Discontinued???? This sucks!

I Love these pants! I was going to purchase a few pairs for Christmas gifts and some more for myself. It is such a shame they are discontinued or only available in such limited sizes!

Below the right rear pocket is a tool pocket that has a 45 degree angle opening that faces the front. This pocket frequently catches on items such as drawer knobs, door handles, and other protrusion that are the same height as the pocket. This has ripped the pocket where it attaches near the rear pocket.
