Men's Sizing Charts

Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

Feel like they'll last forever!

I was looking for a pair of rugged shorts for hiking. And I found them here. I was tired of wearing cargo shorts that felt like I was wearing a pair of short pants, so I appreciate the short inseam on these. One note: the inseam is closer to 6 inches than 7.

Love, love, love the zipper pull! Most appreciated when you've been in the yard too long and have to make an overdue comfort stop.

You still need pockets in warm weather.

It is warm weather time, I like to wear shorts but I still need to carry things with me,like my glucose meter, so I found what I could use at Duluth Trading. These shorts fill the bill.

Put them on right away. Perfect fit, very comfortable, and hide enough of me to keep me legal. Enough pockets that I don't need a murse (man-purse).

Great Shorts

These shorts are everything they are advertised to be; lighter than Firehose, good stretch, water repellent, great pockets, perfect length. Strong zipper. They are great quality and as expected a little pricey. I would absolutely buy at least 6 more if they were available in black. This is not so much a personal choice as it is an entertainment industry standard. Keep up the good work and hey, could you offer them in black? As a side note, could we see more 28" inseam pants, preferably in black?!!

Subtly Better than advertised

Accurate fit
Best Cargo Pockets

Some reviews criticize these shorts about the pockets. I disagree strongly. Unlike many cargo shorts, the cargo pockets are not simply right over the inner pockets, making things bulge when both are in use. In these shorts, the cargo pocket is more to the side so there is very little overlap. So, you can keep change, a knife, parts or a piece in the right inner pocket, and your iPhone in the cargo pocket with no problem.

Also, the pockets with flaps have snaps. This keep things aligned compared to velco. However, there is a velcro secion in the middle of the flap to that keep the cargo pocket from sagging. I have had a lot of expensive shorts, and they have not had this feature. The snaps and the velco support will keep them looking fresher, longer.

The material is very nice and durable. Though these are supposed to have some stretch, they do not look like stretch, but high quality canvas.

The quality of these shorts make them worth a try. They are not inexpensive, they are are a very good value.
