I bought the only two colors offered, wish I had two more colors! These serve as stylish windbreakers and are rugged enough for outdoors activity.

I wear long sleeves year round due to the fact that I sun burn easily. Wanted something durable but comfortable. I already have some of the hanger benders and love them, also some of the fire hose pants and love them, both are very comfortable. So I wanted to try the fire hose shirts, these are a lighter fire hose material and should be great for summer use. It is nice to put a shirt on and know it will hold up to the things I will put it through and be comfortable all day. I like the water and stain resistance also, due the the fact that I never know what I will be into. My only complaint would be the buttons. I would much rather have snaps like the hanger benders. the velcro pockets are OK although velcro tends to get stuff in it and then not work.

It took a couple of washes to get the shirt to feel better, but it did soften and is now one of my favorite work shirts. As a machinist I get lots of oils and metal on my shirts, and this shirt cleans very well. Good Job Duluth!!

Having never heard of "fire hose" fabric, I took a chance on the DuluthFlex Fire Hose shirt. Given my previous success with all things Duluth, I was pretty confident I'd like it.

When I first put the shirt on, it was a bit oversized and stiff, but after the first wash, I've come to LOVE the rugged feel of the fabric. I'm tall and slim, but the full-sized build of the shirt makes it perfect for reaching and stretching, or concealing things on one's belt that might be best kept concealed. The pockets are really strong and handy, although I'm not a huge fan of Velcro.

I love the shirt and will be purchasing several more.

Hope it softens up in the wash. Still should be great in the thorn bushes. Should make a great HD work shirt or outdoor shirt.
