Comments about MN Fire Hose Logger's Pants:

I bought a pair of these a few years ago and they are still going strong, although they ended up being a little short in length (I wear a 32 inseam and Duluth pants seem to be consistently short for me). This time I bought the 34 inseam and it is much better. The only issue I have with the new pair is that instead of having typical internal pockets like all other pants I own, they used the outer layer of the double layer as the outside of the pocket and the inner layer as the inside of the pocket. I assume this is a cost-saving measure, but it seems to me that it might be a less durable option in the long run. They also eliminated the huge watch/change pocket that was included in the previous pair. Time will tell if these changes will impact the durability of the pants. In the long run, it may actually end up being a positive change.

Comments about MN Fire Hose Logger's Pants:

I got the fire hose logger pants because I am starting a job as a telephone Lineman. From past experience I know regular jeans will not hold up. I have worn the pants a few times and find them comfortable enough for everyday wear. I would recommend these pants for anyone who is looking for a great pair of pants at a good price.

I work with sheet metal and these pants after three weeks of daily use still look like the have just come out of the package!

If these pants hold up as good as they look like they will over the next two years they are worth every dollar they cost!

Comments about MN Fire Hose Logger's Pants:

Having had a pair of the older style logger pants I was looking for an improvement with the double front going all the way up to the waist. They skimped on the front pockets, instead of the "bag style" like that of the older style (also of the ball room jeans) these front pockets are just the space between the two front layers of the pants. They are also slash type opening instead of the horizontal type like that of jeans. When you sit down anything in there will fall out. The fire hose material is tuff stuff & lasts longer than cotton duck. Overall the pants are pretty good just wish they would have left the pockets alone & brought the double front all the way up.

Comments about MN Fire Hose Logger's Pants:

This is my second pair. I do alot of woodcutting to fuel an outside furnace which provides heat for my residence. These pants have held up to cutting in excess of a triaxle load of wood a year. Been in the snow, slop, jaggers and mud with this pants while cutting, and they have provided tough protection in all of the above. Even use them as brush pants while hunting in the fall. Bought the 2nd pair simply because they were on sale, and couldnt pass up the bargain. 1st pair still going strong after 3yrs.

Comments about MN Fire Hose Logger's Pants:

I raise and sell small square bales of hay which when handling soon tear up a regular pair of work pants. I like the double thickness of material on the legs both for comfort and durability when handling bales of hay.
I also cut firewood for heat proposes and like them for that as well.
Seem to have the right number of pockets to be useful but not in the way for carrying tools and etc.
