Men's Flex Fire Hose Work Pants

These pants give me great ease while mulching, landscaping, mowing, etc. The location of the belt loops are nice for placement of my leatherman. The look clean even after a day of getting dirty.

I got two pair of these flex fire hose after getting a pair of the shorts. I really like the way they flex. They seem very tough and well made, though I have not pressed them hard. I love the way they fit and work well in the office. I used them in a trade show and they were comfortable and did not wrinkle up bad at all. Very good pants. I will end up with more of these...

Simply one of the best pairs of pants I've ever owned, and definitely the best at anything close to this price!

They're no heavier than regular jeans, and they're holding up much better under wear. Tons of loops, pockets, pouches and other features, and even little touches like the change pocket inside the main right pocket mean that I've yet to find a task that these pants can't live up to.

I've searched the Internet for Cargo pants from all the major suppliers and found these and am so satisfied. I've ordered so many Zambezi Twills from Orvis but these are the very best. Ordered another pair after I received the first and gave a pair to my son who really liked it. Will order another pair to replace the one I gave to my son. Keep up the good work! The best pair of pants I own, until I order more

I've been wearing jeans all my life. But my work jeans only tend to last a year before the crotch blows out. When trying to find an alternative online I found out about Firehose pants. I purchased two pair of theses and have had these pants for about six months now, and here is my opinion of them.

The Good:
Being very flexible and roomy, the pants are great as I have to climb into, out of, over and through machinery all day at work. They're also thinner than the other Firehose pants, and jeans for that matter, and therefore cooler on those hot days. The pocket options are wonderful, 13 if I recall correctly, so carrying around extra small parts or tools when my hands are full is quite nice. And the hip pockets are deep enough that I can carry my pistol with a 5" barrel concealed in them quite comfortably when a hip holster isn't feasible. For me, with regular jeans, a belt loop or two are the first things to go. Sometimes after a couple of months. But these have been going strong.

The Not so Good:
Not too much. The color faded rather quickly in my opinion. The water resistence feature is realy a joke, as its gone after a few washes. Okay, I said the pockets were wonderful. BUT, some of them, I believe, are unnecessary. Like the little one on the inside of the pants, or inside right hip pocket. And, I don't know if its just this style of pants or something but, I occationaly step on the heel and that is starting to wear on these. They don't seem too long though, and are the same length that I wear in jeans. Just the design I suppose. And lastly, I discovered a tear in the back of one of the legs when pulling them out of the dryer a couple of days ago. The reason this sticks out to me is that these pants are relatively strong. I've snagged on things before with them and haven't come close to ripping them. But I don't recall catching on anything to cause this tear. Figured I would have remembered that! Oh well, maybe I'll use one of those extra pockets as a patch!

So. I realy like these pants. I'll be happy if they last me at least half a year longer than jeans. I hope it will be longer than that though. One thing that I would like to see on these are double knees.

Will use for any work around house, yard, or out camping

I'm restoring an old Peterbilt tractor so I'm constantly climbing on, crawling under, stepping over or crouching down around my truck. The flexibility and lack of binding is fantastic. It's like wearing shorts. I was bummed when the first day I wore them, they got filthy and I was afraid the grease stains and oily dirt were going to mark them as used forever. One wash in the normal laundry and they look brand new. I love all the pockets and even the hidden pocket inside. Great pants, I'm having a yard sale for all my other pants and will fill the closet with these!

PANTS FEEL GREAT FOR HOT WEATHER WEARING,KEEPS YOU COOL

I'm never wanting for storage space in these bad boys. The fit is phenomenal, the sizing is spot-on. My only complaint is that they don't magically repel pet hair. Nor do they pay me to wear them, but that's a small complaint, given how pleasurable they are to don.
