Not as good as I thought it would be

  • Lightweight

Cons

  • Difficult To Use
  • Flimsy

Best Uses

COMMENTS:

I bought the apron on 12/10/17 and as of today 06/27/17 I have a large hole in one of the pockets and am wearing holes in other parts of the apron. I work in a large shop milling, and building interiors for mega yachts. The apron has not held up well. My previous apron was made by a sail maker and boat upholsterer in Port Townsend, WA, that apron lasted for 9 years and cost $60, much more value for the price. This apron will probably work for a do it yourselyer but is not professional grade.

Great Apron for Wood Working

Pros

  • Comfortable Neck Strap
  • Durable

      COMMENTS:

I can't recommend this apron highly enough. It's durable. It has all the pockets and for all the stuff I need at the ready: an inch tape measure; a metric tape measure; two or three pencils; felt tip marker; a box cutter; a granola bar; 2 steel 6 inch rulers; some cloth for staining or finishing. At least two pockets are then left open for quick tasks. I try not to over load the apron with stuff I don't need :-)

This is my second apron as I am lucky enough to have access to two different wood shops: one at home and a community shop. The original apron, now 3 years old, shows no signs of wear or tear. The new and improved version is the best of several birthday presents I received this year.

Great apron I love it.....Why didn't I get one years ago. The only thing I don't like is the pencil pocket (bottom two on the top pocket) It is difficult to get the pencils out I think it should be bigger.

Have been using the bib for about two weeks. Have owned many over a life time of woodworking and this one is the best. One of the best features in my opinion are the screen like pockets that allow the saw dust to filter out. It's easy to get on and off and it is tough material but light weight

          COMMENTS:

The one small (actually now that I spelled it out, it's a pretty big) problem is the adjustable straps.

The older apron did not have these adjustable shoulder straps, I basically wore that one on the work floor till the apron completely fell apart.

The new model has these adjustible shoulder straps. They come loose; all the time. I will have to cut them off and sew the straps directly to the apron to keep it from coming loose and getting me hurt.

For now great around the house, but till I fix this can't wear the apron in the shop.

Still best apron I've used in a long time and once I fix this problem I'll wear this one till it disintegrates.
