About Me Avid Do-It-Yourselfer

Pros

  • Durable
  • Easy to remove sawdust

Cons

    Best Uses

    • Workshop while doing woodwork

    COMMENTS:

It is a well made apron, and the material and design is perfect for woodworking. The pockets are positioned so sawdust does not collect in them. The material allows easy removal of sawdust. It is easy to put on and is comfortable for working on lathes and saws.

    COMMENTS:

I needed a comfortable apron for woodworking, and after reading reviews of several others, I chose this for it's cross straps and positive reviews. It should work for those few times I need protection from chemicals, paint, etc.

      COMMENTS:

I have been using this apron for 5 years working with hot lead and hot plastic. I make fishing jigs and soft plastic baits. The pockets are well placed and the heavy fabric has protected me and my clothes.

      COMMENTS:

Just received and put my new apron thru its first full day. Seems very well made and performed its apron functions perfectly. I am a machinist and hate having strings or anything hanging off me for fear they will get caught in my equipment. This apron protected my clothing very well from cutting oil and hot metal shavings and has nothing hanging off it to get caught. Pockets are useful for my smaller tools I need to keep handy as well as a notepad and my cell phone. The clips are very stiff and I worry it will wear holes in the corners of the apron or fray them however that remains to he seen. I only gave 4 stars because of the stiffness of those clips and to be honest I am more than a little spoiled by super quick 2 day shipping I enjoy from the largest online retailer( I think we all know who that is) However I do love the consistent quality that Duluth offers and to wait a few extra days is not a big deal I guess. Thanks for what seems to be another great product for someone who truly knows the value of tough clothing.

          COMMENTS:

I do a lot that creates saw dust that sticks like velcro. This apron is very well made - it does its job for keeping my clothes clean enough that I can spend a few minutes in the shop and then walk in the house without my wife giving me a dirty look.

Its long enough and tough enough for lathe work. It is easy to get on and off. I wouldn't trade it for another apron.

My only problem is that the straps are setup for people much bigger then me. At 5'10" 150lbs, the tightest setting was a bit loose. I had to use some binding clips to snug it up.
