Landscape boots.

By YutYut

About Me Comfort-oriented, Looking for work boots

Verified Reviewer

Pros

  • Comfortable
  • Stink free

Cons

  • Half donkey'd glue
  • Not very water proof

Best Uses

  • Work

COMMENTS:

Debating how to rate these... Wore them all summer landscaping. The glue let go about three weeks in but they were cheap enough to let that slide. Also wore them in some late spring snows. They let the moisture from melting snow seep through. Buttt. Zero stink after sweating in them 8-10 hours a day through the summer months. Extremely comfortable on the feet, knees and ankles. They get filled with sand, rocks and mulch every day and all I do is turn them over and shake them out. Boom the liner lets it all go ready for the next round.

    COMMENTS:

five days in the ouachita mountains.... over hill and glen, up and down mountains, through water, climbing rocks.... all with no break in period. They performed exceedingly well and were unbelievably comfortable. I finally had to retire my old Marine Corps issue Bates (after 8 years) due to not being able to walk right after hiking more than a mile in them due to pain. I originally bought these for a quick wear for a five day scouting trip in the mountains. Figured I could dump them after if they weren't worth a hoot... negative. Absolutely keeping them! Please note: I have very swollen legs and feet due to Milroys disease and the 'wide' fit perfectly... so take that into account when buying. For a boot I never tried on, I couldn't be more estatic with the results!
