Wear Smart Wool socks year round.

I wear SmartWool socks year round. My feet never perspire in the summer or are they too hot. The socks are comfortable and it is all I have worn for quite a few years now. Always order them from Duluth Trading as they carry my size and just what I want.

I have always loved Smart Wool socks and my old ones finally wore out which meant I got to order these beautiful socks. They fit perfectly, have great design and fun colors. I look forward to many happy years with them.

Looks good. Washes well in the machine, I dry on the line. I just grab a pair in the morning and wear all day. Great with Birkies.

Not sure I bought the right size ....

                  • My Favorite Sandals

OK, might seem strange to wear a lightweight wool sock with a sandal, but I have a pair of metallic mixed purple-and berry-colored low-heeled casual sandals that have a super lightweight sole and adjustable Velcro straps across the toes and the top of the foot. Not an orthopedic sandal, but I am in my 60s. When I'm sitting in my ground floor home office, my toes get cold; it's a townhouse and the cold air sinks. Because the sandal is adjustable, I can make the sandals fit even with the wool socks on, and the berry color looks great with the sandal colors so I can wear my favorite sandals well into fall with jeans. The effect looks like a soft shoe. The only thing that kept me from giving the socks a perfect score is they seems a bit more snug just above the ankle bones than I'd like. I don't have "cankles" so I'm wondering if I should have gotten these in "L" rather than "M". As often happens I'm right at the border in terms of sizing. I wear a size 8.5 in C width. In some shoes/boots/ sandals I wear a regular width, and in others I end up getting a W, especially if I plan on wearing socks. In rare cases I've bought a size 9, so maybe I need to size up in these socks, too.

I wear them every time I go to town. They fit well and are roomy enough to move my toes freely.

I will come back for more.

Smartwool socks are always a good buy, a little pricy, but last a long time, super comfortable, and keep my fussy feet dry.

Being a "sock connoisseur", I can say without reservation that these are THE best mini-socks ever. They are lightweight, yet not flimsy, and durable, with just the right amount of cushioning for those who are on their feet a lot. Add in the great colors and patterns, and they simply cannot get any better!
