Awesome "Stay Put" belt

By patters

from Allentown, PA

Verified Buyer

Pros

  • Belt Doesn't Come Apart
  • Great finish
  • Heavy But Not To Wide
  • Made well
  • Nice leather
  • No Buckles To Wear Out
  • No Holes To Rip Out

Cons

    Best Uses

    • Casual belt
    • Easy For Arthritic Hands
    • Everyday wear
    • Yard Work

Bought this belt for my Dad for Christmas. He was always wearing out his belts because he likes to wear them on the tighter side. The holes would tear the belt material and the belt would crack. Also some of the department store belts were just no made tough enough to endure the bending and moving around outdoors.
This belt looks great, no buckle. It doesn't mark my Dad's outdoor equipment when he is working on his tractor or cars. He is also an accordion player and it doesn't mark up his instruments. Best of all, the belt stays in place with the wonderful hook design! It looks great too. Not too thick, but not too thin either. Fits on almost all of his casual and work pants.

We have a 1957 Lincoln that we are restoring. This belt is perfect for working on the car - no snagging the belt buckle on any loose pieces, no scratching a finish!

GOOD But Not as Sturdy as I Hoped For

I purchased this belt to replace one I bought in 1997 from a Snap-On Dealer, it looked like the same product, when it arrived I was dissapointed in the Cheap Tinny Hooks with plastic over them if you catch the edge of the buckle on something it comes unhooked, unfortunately Snap-On no longer sells the belt or I would have bought one from them

          Pros

          • Fine workmanship
          • Good Quality

          Cons

          • Need Two More Holes

          Best Uses

          • Hold your britches up

I was looking for a belt exactly like this for 14 years, I use to have one when I worked in the steel mill. Having no buckle means it is safe with no metal catching or scratching anything you happen to lean against. Once you use a belt like this you won't go back to a buckle!

Belt fits and works perfectly for guitar

          By Crash

          from Tacoma WA

          Verified Buyer

          Pros

          • Does Not Scratch Guitars

          Cons

            Best Uses

            • CASUAL WEAR
            • Playing guitar

I have ordered this belt design earlier and found it perfect for playing a couple of valuable guitars I have. With no metal buckle, I don't worry about scratching the back of my Martin D-12-35 or Gretsch Country Gentleman. I expected to get the Velcro-closure belt like the previous two, but this one came with a reverse "peg" device that fits eyeholes from the back. It is actually more secure than the Velcro, but doesn't offer that infinite selection of tightness the Velcro does.

In all, it's just the right weight, heft, and security I want for a belt that won't scratch my instruments.
