The full of the hat above the brim could use an optional removable flexable round and ventilated liner to keep the full top of the hat (from above the prim to the top of the hat) in crisp military trim. Much as pictured by your artist. I am looking around to find for a 12" long strip of plastic 3" band to encircle my medium head sized hat, That should do the it.. If you find one before me, please send one along by way of thanks..

Close to the last minute I decided I needed an appropriate hat for an extended trip to the Kilimanjaro District of Tanzania Africa. Size selection has been a problem for me in the past, so I was pleased to see the exact sizing. The hat arrived quickly as promised! It packed easily in my over-stuffed bags and recovered nicely 24 hours later 9 time zones later. The first few days were rainy, and the hat provided excellent protection from the on and off showers. Then came the sun, and at 2 degrees off the equator, that was considerable. The broad brim gave me great shade below, and the mesh sides gave the needed ventilation above. Asante! Chin strap holes could be a little farther back behind the ears. This hat keeps the sun off!

Very functional and useful hat; especially in this south Georgia heat

I use it when I am going to be exposed by the sun. It not only protects me from sun burn but with the vented sides keeps my head cool too.

I had to return the first one because it was a tad large. i love the hat. It keep the sun off my head.

My husband wears these to work outside as well as around town. They last long and have gone through several washings. They are always his "go to" hat.
