I have tried suspenders, in the past, and they always seemed to get in the way. These side catchers don't.
They hold better than a belt and with more comfort. I also like that they are not as wide as others and they fit a 6 ft. 4 old man without letting go!

I have been a 4-clip suspender user for years. What I have discovered is the the 4-clip system has destroyed my car's leather seats. Each entry and exit from the car errodes the leather to the point now that the seat is unusable and must be replaced. The side-clip system prevents this from happening. I am so very happy to have this type of suspender and vow to never wear anything else for the rest of my days.

Got a pair of these about a month back, and have worn them every day since. I've already highly recommended them to several friends. I don't have much hip to hold pants up, so I've always just cinched my belts tighter. These side-clip suspenders eliminate the weight and chafing friction completely, as well as the clumsy factor of typical suspenders, and are also much easier to attach to pants and put-on/take-off. Working or relaxing, they're completely functional; you forget you have them on. I also play guitar professionally, and the hardware is completely out of the way, so no scratch concerns. Typical suspenders have that "old man" or "farmer's overalls" kind of look (and yes, sometimes I resemble both) but these have more of an outdoors/under-arm holster effect, that appeals more to my sense of design, without the clumsy traditional design or look. There's nothing hanging off your front or back; a very clean functional design. I'm ordering the non-metalic version of these next; I am a lifetime user of gear in work and serious wilderness activity, so I've owned alot of gear, and trashed alot that didn't perform up to need and expectation. These are keepers. Nice work, Duluth!

Have to learn to adjust properly to be comfortable. Use when hunting to hold pants up while carrying sidearm.

I wear suspenders daily and have typically worn the classic 4 clip style suspender. When I saw these at Duluth I had to give them a try. I ordered both the undershirt version and this pair. I love the single clip on each side and the overall comfort. I only have one complaint. The metal sliders on the front suspender leg tend to fall right under my from armpit. This metal slider buckle becomes very uncomfortable during the day and actually can make that spot a bit sore. I have tried different configurations to try and eliminate the problem with little success. I am choosing to keep the suspender because overall they are awesome. Adding more material to the front suspenders and placing the sliders higher would eliminate the problem. Hopefully this suggestion will help. By the way, the under the shirt suspenders are unbelievably awesome.

They stay put I don't have to stop and adjust them
