Comments about Men's Duluth Trading Impact Work Gloves:

I use these on my motorbike in Dubai (so quite warm). I don't think that they would be much good for this purpose in cold climates, but for me they are fine.

They take a bit of breaking in to become flexible, and I'm not sure if I would/could use them for anything other than heavy work (like wood splitting) - if I was using them for work.

Protection on the back seems good. Time will tell for the durability

I've been clearing brush, downed trees, running a chainsaw. Lots of thorns and stickers. The palms are great, but the backs sometimes let the thorns through.

We live in the country and have a lot of outdoor and construction projects to do. My hands take a beating . These gloves help take care of that problem. I would like to see a biner loop on these gloves to clip them together. I used 550 cord to make my own loops. Other then that they are great gloves.

We have a cattle ranch in Austin, TX. These gloves are working great at the ranch. We have repaired fence, worked the cattle and they have come in handy saving my knuckles when changing the fluids in our tractor. Recommend these gloves. They are pretty new and are holding up so far.

Comments about Men's Duluth Trading Impact Work Gloves:

These gloves are not for show, they are for work. Still they look good and that doesn't hurt none. The leather on the palms makes grabbing and gripping stuff that much easier. You can pull these on and lock them down without much trouble. I don't think they'll stretch much so you need to buy the right size.

Comments about Men's Duluth Trading Impact Work Gloves:

I use these gloves daily doing concrete flat work. laying pavers will tear a pair up in about a day, but that's still better than the whole pack of cheap Lowes gloves I would usually burn through laying pavers in a day.
They are the best gloves I've ever used doing any kind of tree work or log splitting, they really save your knuckles as well, probably the best part about them. That your hands don't get all sore and have little knicks and cuts with these bad boys on.

Comments about Men's Duluth Trading Impact Work Gloves:

I bought the gloves to handle firewood blocks. I often skin my hands while handling large blocks of wood. The hard, exterior of the gloves offer some good protection. Two downsides. I used the Duluth glove size guide and measured my hands. Per the chart a large should have fit. They are small. My second downside is I live in Wisconsin. While the gloves have a very tough exterior they have virtually no insulation and are darn cold to wear outside.

Comments about Men's Duluth Trading Impact Work Gloves:

Got these before my deployment to Afghanistan. They went with me through mobilization and now at 6 months in my deployment, they finally seen the end of their usefulness. War tested and used everyday, to driving, to gunning, to dismounted. After 4 months of hard use, some of the stitching became frayed; not a big deal, just burned em off. Now at 6 months the velcro has detached from the glove on the left hand. Now they're in the bottom of my bag and I keep as a backup. Working in such extreme contemporary operating conditions they were great, but I wouldn't use them in everyday civilian life. They were thick and as such were not useful for precise work. They were also great in punching rowdies in the cheek or a good slap across the face.

This is my second pair of these gloves, which are very much like body armor for you hands. They are stiff right out of the bag, but any amount of work will break them in.

The first pair that I had have stood up to a great deal of use as I split firewood for the winter. A couple of the fingertips eventually failed, but they certainly lasted longer than any other leather or synthetic gloves that I have ever worn.

I just moved to the country. Doing heavy farm and forest work, I went through 5 pairs of various types of hardware store 'work' gloves, which, after 2 or three sessions of real work, would either come apart or get too stiff to bend. As of this writing, Duluth's gloves have endured 6 sessions of real work so far, and still look almost new! These are now my first choice if I ever need to replace them, and tops for practical gifts to friends and family.
