Something to keep your neck and face out of the cold biting wind is essential! Duluth should make more products like this, thicker options, maybe color. This product keeps you warm down to around a 10 degree 20mph wind. I would order a thicker one for days that are colder if duluth offered one. But it is great for anything with less wind or warmer temps.
I've been looking for a neck gaitor that had some ability to stretch such that it doesn't feel like a neck tie. When I read that this came in two sizes, I thought perhaps this is it. I received it yesterday and frankly, was disappointed. Sure, it stretches but it's so thin that I'm wondering how much good it will do in bitter weather. I'm not normally a scarf or gaitor person but having been diagnosed and treated for asthma now I don't have any choice. I think they are on the right track but it would be better if this were made a bit heavier or perhaps made as a combination fleece and this stretch fabric.
