I love this bag which is great for my work as I am in the field every day. It carries my camera, tape measure, flashlight and other work tools. Just after I got done bragging about it to co-workers and 10 days after purchase, the leather loop strap that holds the shoulder strap to the body of the bag ripped where it was stitched. Duluth advised they would replace as this item is no longer avialable. Must be an isolated incident as no other reports of problems.

I've used this bag as an airline carry-on and then tourist bag, as a day pack during a fall trip to Mackinac Island (no cars allowed so you have to tote what you need), and as a carry-all for an extended day trip into Chicago via public transportation. While I've only owned it for a couple of months, the more I use this bag - the more I like it. It's nice looking and well made with lots of room for a sweater, water bottle, snacks, book, magazine, electronic gear, binoculars, tooth brush, sun screen, insect repellent, sock hat, gloves, or whatever your day calls for.

I just gave this bag a workout, traveling 12 days through Myanmar (Burma) with it. What a great, useful little bag. I carried my ipad, a book, camera and other small items like business cards, pens, passport, etc. It easily slings over the shoulder, feels secure and fits just about everywhere on an airplane. Plus, I have the Hard Knocks duffle bag, which is a nice travel pair that looks cool too.

Great bag but the dark interior makes it hard to find things in low light. I pack my notebook, nook, pens, glasses, pill case, and cell phone accessories with room to spare. The perfect grab and go bag when all you want is the essentials.

This bag holds my Ipad in it's case and everything else I need to carry to work or on a trip. I bought it for travel and am carrying it to work every day instead. It is sturdy and very well made. The only down side is that the shoulder pad is curling up with use and rubs my shoulder.

I admit it: I'm a travel bag junkie. I've used messenger bags, backpacks, laptop cases, and others. This bag is just right for running arouond town, vacation days, travel, etc. I've given all the many compartments names: drugstore (for aspirin, toothbrush, etc.), office (for pens, notebooks, post-it notes, etc.), "the safe" (middle compartment for camera and valuables), etc. You can squeeze an amazing amount of stuff into this bag (small umbrella, books, hat ...). It's well-made, well thought-out, and it looks like a guy's bag. Great product, excellent value. I've tried many others, but this is the one I'll be using.
