The only pair of boots that I have EVER ordered online that actually fit the description! Pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the boot, and accurate fit. I have worn them every day for the past three weeks, and absolutely love them!

Comments about Duluth Trading Men's Contractor's Lace-to-toe Roofer Boots:

Very nice, well constructed boot. Would be nice if there was an extra leather toe cap added to the boot.
I bought these boots for my son who is currently a roofer/sider and the toes of his boots seem to suffer the most wear. I am also a leather crafter and made some leather toe caps to protect the toes of these new boots.
The caps do not detract from the appearance of the boots and as a matter of fact give them even more of a rugged useful look than they already have.
Just a suggestion for the company to add these to an already nice practical design.

Comments about Duluth Trading Men's Contractor's Lace-to-toe Roofer Boots:

I wear Thorougood roofing boots, which appear identical to these. I find them to be very sturdy, though I do have to wear wool socks with them, and the soles will mark up the floor at my office.

Comments about Duluth Trading Men's Contractor's Lace-to-toe Roofer Boots:

I've owned these boots for 3-1/2 years and use them for outdoor work - gardening, running the tractor, planting and transplanting trees, mowing, cutting wood, etc. They are simple, no frills, well-made boots that fit me like a glove. Break-in, for me, was very brief. If I had one wish, it would be that other soles would be made available, as the traction could be better in muddy conditions. Having said that, they are billed as a roofers boot, and I imaging the sole would work very well for that purpose. I think the price point is reasonable for a good quality, leather, made in USA boot...especially if you buy them at the occasional 20% off sale, as I did!

I climb roofs. The traction is good and they look good. The sizing is larger than the same size sneaker so I would have ordered 1/2 size smaller.

Comments about Duluth Trading Men's Contractor's Lace-to-toe Roofer Boots:

I am a general contractor in New Hampshire. I live in these boots! I had been looking for a good boot for years and thought I would spend a little extra and buy these roofing boots. I have had these boots for three years now and have finally worn them out after wearing them for practically every day. They are comfortable and durable, and light weight for a leather boot. 5lbs (pair)
I have been complimented on my boots but my only complaint is that they do not have pull up tabs. I have had to put in Dr. Shoals insoles in this past year, and will now have to retuire them after I wore a hole in the leather crease at the toe just below the first eyelit hole.
Time to order another pair! Oh, and the best part, they hardly track in mud as the treads are few and not too deep.
Highly recomend this boot!!! Go USA.

Comments about Duluth Trading Men's Contractor's Lace-to-toe Roofer Boots:

I have worn these a lot over the past 3 years and they are among the most comfortable shoes I own. The insoles that come with the boots have gel in the heel and ball of the foot but are a little low on arch support (they are removable, so they were replaced with Superfeet). These shoes feature two layers of leather on the sides, brass rivets at stress points and triple needle stitching. The lace to toe design allows you to wear thick or thin socks and still get the nice snug fit you desire from a lace up boot. You will be hard pressed to find a better boot in this price range and this one is USA made. Don't fall for flashy technology on imported junkers. Vibram sole, quality leather and brass hardware combine for the ultimate package.
