Oiled Leather Wild Boar Mocs™

I am a pest control technician and am working in and out of houses multiple times a day so to have a pair of shoes that are easy on and off is a must. I put a lot of miles in my work shoes so they need to be durable. I have only had my shoes for a month and so far so good.

First, the shoes were comfortable right out of the box. I had a little heel slippage. It's fine now that the shoe is broken in. The top of the shoe over the ball of your foot becomes less stiff. Think of a lever where the heel is one end and the top of the shoe is the other. When the top gets broken in the lever relaxes.
I didn't want the suede version. It reminds me of my father's "silent young dogs". You know what I mean. I got the smooth leather. The picture is a good representation of the shoe. These shoes are NOT a fashion statement, but who cares. Go buy "designer" shoes for 3x the price if you want fashion. These shoes are great for standing for a long time. I am a teacher and after a couple hours of standing, my feet are fine. I wear them with khakis while I teach. No one notices the shoe.
I use mink oil on the shoes. After polishing shoes in the Army, I won't polish shoes again.
The sole is really, really non-slip. I have tried snow and mud with the shoes. I have not worn these on ice.
My favorite walking shoes rhymes with peril. I wear a wide in these peril shoes with a medium weight sock. These wild boar shoes are just a little wider than a standard wide width in peril shoes. I wear these with a thicker (hiking) sock and they are fine. The length of the shoe is a perfect.
For this price you can't go wrong.

These mocs work exactly as I expected them to. Easy on / easy off. I ordinarily would order size 14 but the wide version makes a 13 fit very well.

I bought these shoes for my husband to wear around the house HOWEVER he loves them so much he wears them to work and play. He says that they are comfortable and fit like a glove

I was questionable about buying shoe's online having wide feet, but this fit me perfectly right out of the box. I have worn them everyday for work since I got them. They look and feel good I am thinking about ordering a pair of the suede shoe's also. Shipping was very fast also.

I paid twice over for a pair of Merrells that were not near as durable, well constructed or comfortable
