I bought these as an alternative to the side clip suspenders because their elastic seems to give out over time. Having three attachment points does help to keep the duds up but the thinner strap seems weaker. The clips pull out fairly easily on just the waistband of jeans so I am finding clipping them on a folded belt loop works better.That gives the clip has more material to bite into. Overall I'd say 50/50, not worth returning but I would not buy a second pair when these wear out..

I ride a motorcycle so I carry a bunch of stuff on my belt and pockects of my ballroom jeans tends to load me down the two types of suspenders I bought solve the problem and are durable.have not bought any other brand of jeans since.

If I could lose the last 10 pounds I have put on, I wouldn't need these. But, I am sick and tired of having my pants falling down my butt, or having my overly tight belt cut off my intestines every time I sit down. Time to give in to Mother nature a bit, bite the bullet, and get suspenders. But I never liked the heavy duty kind that feel like they are crushing down your shoulders and pulling your groin through your you-know-what. These are well engineered, and do the job in comfort and in style. Congrat's!

I use these Y suspenders on all types of pants and shorts. Grip will hold on thin material as well as thick material. I especially recommend them for pants that have the expanding side elastic. You will notice a great difference in comfort and security. They won't "let you down or sag".
