Nice but not good for cold weather

    By Scott the snow plower

    About Me Casual/ Recreational

    Pros

    • Tough
    • True fit

    Cons

    • Fingers were cold
    • Not insulated enough

    Best Uses

    • Outdoor use above freezing temperatures

    COMMENTS:

Gloves were comfortable and well made and I was sold on other reviews of how warm they were. My hands frozen! I used the gloves for shoveling snow and it was 25 degrees. I was shocked that after only 20 minutes my fingers were cold. Going to return them. I would recommend them if using above freezing but for what I need they won't work.

These gloves were advertised as really warm winter gloves

      By Michael S.

      Pros

      • Good Grip

      Cons

      • Poor insulation for really cold climate

      Best Uses

        COMMENTS:

As with previous gloves I've purchased from Duluth, these do not keep the hands warm in cold (North Idaho) weather (i.e. 24 degrees and colder). I would really like to find a pair of gloves that keep my hands warm in winter. As I've said once before, the only gloves from Duluth that worked pretty well in my climate were discontinued from last year. They were priced similar to Gauntlet Gloves, but warmer.

          COMMENTS:

For the warmth you get, these gloves are not very bulky. -17F? But they do keep me warm to below zero, which is about as good as most mittens do for me (my hands seem sensitive to cold). Use them for chores, about a half hour, They work fine.
