Long lasting, tough, when you get them really dirty just through them in the washer and they look new again. The best work gloves I have ever owned. I give them as gifts to friends who I know needs a good pair of gloves.

when it comes to shopping for gloves, I really feel that it is best that you should try the fit and feel of them in person, which in entails going to a local shop or distributor that is convenient for you (akin to shopping for boots you could say). this not to say shopping online isn't a great thing (I shop online a lot), but again, for certain items it's preferrable to try them on in person first.
that being said, I looked around for a good amount of time for a utility glove that was very durable and could be multi-purpose. I had basically narrowed it down to Ironclad Gloves, but then while on a forum, I saw someone mention Duluth Trading Co. (they were actually talking about the Fire Hose pants). so I took a gander at this site and I was actually quite impressed at the product range and selection. I went to the work gloves section and was excited to a great range of gloves. I tried to read every review, good, bad and ugly and cross-reference to all my prior glove research. for what I was seeing at a price range within the $20-$30 mark, the DTPros were, on paper, providing a whole lotta bang for the buck. it also helped that they aesthetically appealled to me.
now, I don't own a pair of Ironclad gloves myself but I have been given them for use in past jobs and have borrowed them from friends who own them. Ironclads are also great gloves and they're available locally to me, but not all the models and sizes which is annoying sometimes. so instead I decided to take a gamble with the DTPros, going solely off the reviews on them. they arrive and the first rough job I get to use them in is building up a dog house for the guard dog at the board and care facility I currently work at. the house was being made from an old wood bed frame and computer desk/cabinet. splinters, nails, rough concrete, sawing, hammering, carrying jagged plywood, all that good stuff was around. the glove held up great and with a dexterity that allowed me to pick up small nails straight from the box. the sharp points of the nails and wood didn't bother me either as the padding in the fingers and palm held up true. I've also used them in lighter duties like carrying boxes and light backyard work, but seeing as it stood up to some rough carpentry, I will definitely be taking these on hiking/camping/fishing trips. like the title says, I took a shot in the dark with a glove from a company I've no prior experience with and it was worth it. I'm hooked on the DTPro work gloves. I'll see some months down the road how they hold up in the long run and perhaps write another review then. but from what I've seen so far, I expect these gloves to make a good lengthy run.

Been using these gloves at a weekly food distribution for the homeless. They have been holding up well to moving around boxes of canned goods and other food items. They have been protecting my hands from getting random paper cuts from boxes and scratches so a worthy investment. I did order one size up from what I normally get (xl instead of large) as other reviews have stated and they fit well as a result. Will see how it holds up as time goes on for durability.

Other glove's I've bought, I shred in less than six months. The DTPro's go up to 18 months. I use them cutting firewood, gardening, carpentry, concrete work. They do a great job of protecting me from thorns, but are still allow great dexterity. These gloves use excellent materials and are very well made. I've used dozens of brands of gloves and paid much more for some, most would last me four months or less, a few six months.

Originally I had ordered a pair of these for both my husband and my brother for Xmas. I ordered the wrong size but Duluth was so great about the returns and shipping the right size right away.

I am in the process of remodeling my house and I also own a construction company. I need gloves that can be used for multiple purposes that are durable and long lasting. I could tell from the moment I put these on that these are the gloves for me. Love them!
