Men's Sizing Charts

Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

These jackets fit me very well. The sleeves are long enough and the body length is good for me. The jacket is very comfortable. It does not bind and I have full and complete freedom of movement. It looks really nice in either casual or dressy occasisons. If you would make it in black, I'd buy two!!!

Great concept, needs a little work

I wear this when it gets a bit chilly or windy and it is the perfect weight. Unzipping the zipper all the way to open has been an issue a time or two and I cannot determine why (fabric is not stuck in it when it happens). Also, are the two inside pocket "pouches" supposed to be pockets, too? They have an opening, that appears to be by design, in what would be the bottom corner. A 1/9/12 inquiry regarding this to Customer Service has gone unanswered. Still, though, a great jacket that serves me well.

WORKING ON THE WATER

I wear this jacket working on the water as a boat Captain in Southen California. Im out on an open flybridge at night. With wind chill and temps around the mid forty degree mark Im warm.
Also travel to east coast and with a vest under the jacket Im out in 20-30 degree weather with no problems. Great light weight outer shell.

finally an unlined jacket that works

I bought two sizes as I wear a wool liner under the larger one in cold weather the other one I can wear over my shirt or cold weather a vest fits under---I like the NO zipper collar, ----also like the fit as it allows me to move and I do not have a web under my arm as with other products. Thanks I will definately recommend this to all my friends.

I like the idea of having a tanker's jacket, but in green.They don't have so I got the blue.The sleeves look long when arms are down,But when they go up my arms don't show.The pockets are nice too.
But the first time I wore the jacket,the zipper got into the fab. at the bottom
and it took a few minutes to get back up.Now it only happens every so offen.

Nothing to write home about

The jacket, while well made, just did not fit well. It looked I was wearing a potato sack and the sleeves were too long, which was surprising as I have long arms and usually the problem is finding a garment with sleeves that are long enough. I was particularly disappointed in the small size of the chest pocket, not even large enough for my glasses. I've purchased a number of Duluth Trading products over the years and the inconsistent sizing can be frustrating.

Lighter than expected

I use this as a casual dress jacket in an office environment. It's very light (no liner) so it's great for just slightly cool weather.
My only gripe is the metal zipper for the pocket, it would likely scratch my shades.

When I bought this jacket I thought it was kind of a gamble. But I thought I'd give Duluth a try. What a surprise! The jacket is perfect! Excellent quality and a perfect fit! Now I know that I can Trust Duluth!

I own a construction firm in California. The weather is not "Duluth" extreme but mornings can be a bit brisk. I buy most of my company shirts & jackets from Duluth and print my company Logo on them. I've found them long lasting, comfortable & sharp looking. These Tanker jackets were meant to be a replacement for the Barnstormer jackets which I bought from you a few years ago. The advantage to the Tanker is that being unlined makes it possible to print the company logo on the back. In all of the garments which I have purchased from you over the years I have found them to be generously sized. Therefore I ordered these jackets in Large & Medium. I was disappointed to find that they are rather small for those size designations. I've kept them & will print them but I won't be able to wear one, nor can my two lead crew members. Just too small. Are there any left in L & XL?
