Just about everywhere there is a magnetic surface, home, workshop, car, etc.

This gives out great light. We use the light to search for tools, materials, stored in dimly lit garage. I use it for close work, sewing. It's easy to rotate, stays put. The only problem is where to stick it to hold the magnet. I've used a metal 3-hole hole punch, to make it portable. The tool chest works for the garage. I'd recommend this to anybody who wants a portable, swivel, bright light.

Within two days of receiving the light, I have used it several times. My neighbor came over the other night with a low rear tire on his 4X4 truck and it was breezy cold 20 degF and very dark with the overhead clouds. I had an air compressor but of course it was hard to see pressure on the small gauge on the tire valve, so I told him I had just bought this cool flashlight which had a magnetized base. We stuck it to the fender and - presto - we could see the gauge like the middle of a sunny day! It is super bright and very easy to handle and magnet bottom is great feature. I have it stuck to the side of our refrigerator for emergencies and even use it at night when sneaking downstairs for a snack as it lights up the kitchen just right without alerting the wife and getting caught with my cookies!

Very useful in garage or any place there is metal for magnetic light to stick too.

It is more of a flood light than a spot.works very well for lighting a work area.I have 4 of them.I use them everywhere.
Puts out enough light to use as a porch light.

This past weekend my husband was working into the night on his car door. This was a life saver for me! I stuck it on the frame and illuminated his workspace. I was able to go do other things instead of holding a flashlight over him to work. This is a great size, but I do wish it came in a bigger size as well. That would be really nice!
