Men's Long Sleeve Patterned Armachillo Shirt

I was wearing the shirt when I received the email invitation to review it. That was good for a chuckle. I like the shirt for the hot weather.Next time I'll buy the next smaller size.

I've had to peel sweat soaked t-shirts off before changing into the Armachillo. Even tho it's long sleeved, it's much much cooler and easier to work in once the sweat soaks you.. and it's going to sometimes no matter what you are wearing. And you can roll up and button the sleeves out of the way if you choose to.
And fyi.... in Oklahoma, we know HOT.

I wear this short all the time, whether I am playing or working outside. I am an avid fly fisher and own several name brand expensive fly fishing company shirts, your shirt performs better and is almost half the price. While horseback riding through the desert your shirt protects me from the sun and stands up well to the thorns and barbs from the desert cacti and plants that grab at us.
I also wear it to impress the ladies (my wife of course).
You have a winner here.

Shirt is actually very cool but I would recommend the non-patterned version. I have it in plaid and it gets very wrinkled along the pattern. Ends up looking like its been put in a waffle iron. I have a similar shirt from another brand, without the jade of course, and it does the same thing. Maybe it's just my washing machine but it makes for a high maintenance article of clothing.
Also, the synthetic fabric seems to hold odor more than natural fiber.
Guess that's the price you pay for being cool.

..for years I've used a really thin, long sleeved, hand-me-down of my Father's for mosquito protection on hot days and nights in the woods, hiking, canoeing,or anywhere...this shirt is even lighter, great pockets - phenomenal...you watch my friends buy one too!!

I should have realized when I saw that this was 100% nylon that it was NOT going to breathe. If you want a shirt that does that, by all means get the Hemp F.O.M. shirt ... that one is like wearing an a/c unit! This one ... not so much. In spite of the built-in vents, it does not let air get through, nor does it wick perspiration away. It's very lightweight, but the tight weave can't breathe. It will, however, look great -- crisp and neat -- in spite of the fact that you're sweating like a cold glass of tea. So if looking good in the heat is more important to you than feeling cool, go for it.

I love this shirt. I'm actually wearing it now. As a native of the Northwest living in Florida, this shirt makes me comfortable when it's hot and humid. The performance, quality and style of the shirt is comparable (better, IMO) than Columbia's offerings. With that said, as much as I like it, the price can be prohibitive when compared to Columbia. I'll tough it out though, they're worth it...just pricey! EXCELLENT SHIRT! I want more!

I generally like the feel of these shirts. Yes, they have a more airy feel than a lot of other shirts, but when going for long walks on particularly hot days (mid 80s), I usually take the shirt off after a while. Wearing this seems to concentrate sweat in the undershirt. The back is slatted to for ventilation. Be careful what you're leaning your back against when wearing, as things (like screen door handles) can easily catch and tear the shirt.

Nice shirt, fast delivery, stylish. I cannot think of anything bad about it. Cool and comfortable, worth the money. I have not seen anything in the stores that is quite like this.
