Comments about Duluth Trading Work Pants - Men's Fire Hose 5-Pocket Jeans:

Bought the FH pants mainly to supplement the blue jeans I use to ride my Harley around Southern California. The material is high quality and thicker than most of my jeans. It has deep pockets to secure anything I place inside. The crouch gusset is new to me but works.

The waist, at least the one I have, is at least a size smaller. The inseam is true. Would prefer that the waistband sits at or just below waist and the legs are a bit narrower. I have skinny legs.

Overall, I'm happy with the FH pants.

Comments about Duluth Trading Work Pants - Men's Fire Hose 5-Pocket Jeans:

I wear the heck out of my pants - 2 were down to rips in the last year. I had it. I saw the ads and prescribed myself Fire Hose.

I think part of my problem was I needed a 30x30 and ordered a little high (didn't have the money to ship for exchange) but the pants do sit at about the natural waist, and the legs are just a little wide so I recommend wearing your hiking/work/boots or you might look a little awkward at the ankles. I wear a knife, and it seems that the rubbing between the grit on the handle has been wearing on the inside of the front pocket, but it's not the same deadly wear for lesser pants. The crotch gusset freed me in a way I never thought I could or should be.

That said, I'm in love with Fire Hose now. I don't think there is an occasion where it's not acceptable. I may get a black pair, and wear it to a funeral. I take comfort in knowing that as long as I'm wearing Fire Hose, wherever I am, whatever I do, I have pants that are going to survive where anything else would have left me tattered. I also love the idea that even though these are premium jeans, they are worth their weight in gold by being so well made, you're not going to need to buy jeans to replace it. No Bull Guarantee. They are definitely thick, but for the weight they are very comfortable and after a couple washes, they get even softer. I'm confident they will break in nicely the way a leather jacket does - the best part is YOU get to break it in yourself, some machine didn't do it for you and give you a cruddy quality.

I need to get more pants for work. I tried, in vain to find a pair I liked. Fire Hose is my new standard; nothing else seems worth my time.

Waist was to tight compared to my other 32 inch pants so I sent them back, another 11.00. new 34 inch waist feel fine. Are a little long but that's ok on the motorcycle. Hope they wear good and will hold up if I ever slide down the road 250 feet like I did in Colorado when I hid that deer at 50 MPH

I bought these pants for my father to use as motorcycle pants. They fit the bill pefectly, much less expensive than leather(and eaiser to take care of) and tough enough to save his skin if he should take a spill on his Harley. In short, perfect motorcycle pants!

Not only are these pants tough, which I expected, but they are pretty lightweight and promote good air-flow, which helps keep you cool. This pants are designed for utility and they have that in spades. Cleaned up, they look good enough to wear in public. I've become a huge fan of the firehouse fabric.

Comments about Duluth Trading Work Pants - Men's Fire Hose 5-Pocket Jeans:

Duluth's are now my favorite jeans! I highly recommend them. I love the FOM, it's looser than relaxed fit but not as loose as "loose fit". Perfect! The only bad thing I can say is not being able to try them on in person and if they don't fit having to pay for shipping and the wait. The Firehose shorts and pants I got in a 36 waist fit almost perfectly, the jeans I got in a 36 the waist was a bit loose. Other than that Duluth's are the best!

Makes moving to bend, stretch and walk up and down hillsides much easier and more comfortable than my denim jeans. I wear a 36" inseam, but the 34" works with the workboots. Material was a little stiff prior to the first wash but is more comfortable after the wash. Looking forward to seeing just how durable these pants are as I give them a real workout in the field.

They were a gift for my husband for our anniversary, he was sooo excited. He works in a custom boat building shop, so the pants have saved him from getting torn up. He loves them. He has tore a very small hole in them so I guess I will have to get them replaced.

Great product. Super strong and very true to size. I usually wear out knees in my pants very quickly. These hold up better than any pant I have ever owned.
