I work with a group that train volunteer responders. When we train I found that I needed pen,paper, flashlight, etc. I just don't have enough hands. What I found is Duluth firehouse pants, they do everything I need and more. And when they are clean they can be worn as casual pants. Good stuff.

The pockets are perfectly placed and provide the right positioning for tools. Durability will prove to be endless. I'm completely happy these pants right down to the belt loops. I'm just about to order more pairs.

After two weeks of almost daily use as a grocery clerk and father of numerous wee people, I'm still very happy with these pants. They look great, fit perfectly, and are very comfortable.
I found them a bit warm on a couple of nice spring days before their first washing; although they naturally lose a bit of water repellency, they breathe better since I washed and air-dried them. Anyway, I didn't buy them for water-repellency - I bought them for durability.
The pockets are a bit deeper than what I'm used to, so I often have to shift my wallet up (in the back pocket) while driving, but my wife had a good idea - to put a small, soft object in before the wallet to boost it up. I like the inner security pocket! I also like the little sub-pocket inside the main one, but I'd like it even better if it was a little easier to reach.
I'm very, very impressed with the material and the construction, especially the heavy-duty cuffs (my toe won't be getting caught in these and pulling the hems down), the generous belt loops, and the tough pocket bags.
The main test of these pants will be longevity. No pair of knees in any work pants I've bought has held up for very long. Too early to tell yet, but in any case, I was won over by the bold guarantee on these pants.
I would love to see you make Fire Hose pants for my sons, aged ten and under. They're tougher on pants than I am!
I would be willing to pay more for them if they could be made in the USA - or even in Canada, for that matter.

I'm a handyman painting, plumbing, electrical. I was in the army and cargo pockets were only good cramming stuff into them - no organizational capabilities. This is a GREAT pant, firehose construction is superior to regular denim. I also ride and went down on wet road at 30mph - no visible sign of wear at all. The segregated cargo pockets is Brilliant as it allows for quick storage and retreival of a multitude of objects. I carry my cell (Samsung S3), wallet and pens. Mine only BEEF with
Duluth is..size 30 Waist is GONE. Market these pants to Motorcyclists as anything can be retrieved while on the bike & it's TOUGH as SteeL.

I love these pants. I use them for hunting, fishing and at work as a welder. seems the longer I own them.....the better they feel and fit. there is one thing that bothers me though. I am a big guy with big fingers....the zipper on these pants is a bit short....making it a bit cumbersome during a visit to the mens room.

As a large animal veterinarian, I need rugged and comfortable pants. They are good for crouching due to the crotch gusset. I am interested to see how they repel stains.
Just purchased and worn after having ordered the wrong size (my fault). If you have worn Carhartts, the sizing and shrinkage are identical. I would like to see the small "Watch Pocket" added in the right front upper pocket like the Carhartts.

I work in retail in a cold meat room most of the time. The pants keep me warm and comfortable in the cutting room, cooler and freezer yet I don't feel hot out in the retail area of the store or even outside. I keep a lot of stuff in my pockets like pocket knife, calculator, date book, markers, invoices and even carry the telxon machine which fits in the deep pockets. Best work pant you can imagine. It's like they were custom made for me and my uses. Fantastic. Thought they were too expensive at first but I took a chance and bought them Glad I di. I intend to buy another.

I use these pants for motorcycle riding. They are extremely heavy duty pants, but light weight and comfortable. They look great, but are wide enough to use knee pads underneath. Will be excellent in cold weather riding, and would surely save a few layers of skin in the event of a low impact fall. I'm going to order another pair of the same pants, but with the removable knee pads.
