I bought these boots looking to have better griping power on roofs.Sadly I'm very disappointed ! I do alot of medal roofing and these boots would not grip on anything greater then a 6 pitch I would just slide down the roof. They are will made and I feel they will last along time , but don't have the griping power you think they would being called roofing boots.

I've worn these boots almost everyday for the last three years. I do concrete work and have abused these boots in mud and concrete they just keep taking it. The fact that they lace all the way to the toe make them flex. I would highly recommend these to anyone wanting a tough, comfortable, USA made boot. Trying to get another pair but there out of my size.

Boots fits great right out of the box, no break in time at all. However after wearing them for about 2 weeks on the roof both of my big toes began to get extremely sore from rubbing on the seams where the double leather meets. This was remedied with strips of Mole Skin. Would of helped if the boots were a bit wider in the first place. Also would be nice if they were water proof. They are quite pricey, lets see if they last as long as they should. I expect to get at least a year out of them, hoping more before I need to replace the soles.

Wear these boots almost every work day, haven't had an unlined boot for well over a decade but these are great. Most comfortable boot I've had in years, hardly a break-in time at all.

I work in a can plant standing or waking on a concrete floor, the work day is 12 hrs long and my feet and ankles do not hurt at all with these boots.the support is fantastic and im getting another pair. they fit like a glove.i also no longer wear my prescription orthodics ,they really are comfortable.

I've been a general contractor with 35yrs in the building trade. I've worked all aspects of construction. In my 35yrs I've never found a work boot that I was ever satisfied with. I've tried custom made boots, high end, name brand boots. None of them have ever lasted a year with out falling apart and getting pitched.
These boots are the first boots that I have ever purchased that satisfied me and impressed me. They have passed the one and a half year mark and I'm still wearing them. The only area that is showing wear is th first layer of leather on the toe and front edge of the sole stitching. I hope the people at Duluth Trading never drop this product and if they do I hope they let me know so I can stock up before they are no longer available.
That's "No Bull".

Wear them in heavy construction daily: roofs, decking, cement. Very durable and comfortable. Very reasonably price for the quality of leather. I would highly recomend this for every jack of all trades.

I am a contractor and am not easy at all on boots they usually last 6 months Boots took a long time to break in got blisters
Takes time to get use to
I am most disappointed at the way they wore I had holes in both toes within 4 months. Figured that woul be the last part to get hole since its a roofers boot. Boots need a double toe.
