I bought this belt in 2008 and pretty much wore it daily for the next five years. I then lost a bit of weight (yea!) and needed a smaller belt. Well, as it happened, the stitching had come loose in parts, and Duluth kindly offered to exchange it for a new belt - after all, that's their guarantee. I chose to buy a new belt and to have the old one repaired locally. I have no doubt at all that the old belt, which will be my standby (and available if I gain back the weight), will last for years to come. In the meantime, the new belt is fantastic. And with the extra few holes, it should stand me in good stead if my weight loss continues. As for the getting better with age, this is an accurate description. Apart from the stitching, which is costing me all of $10 to repair, the leather holds up ridiculously well and in my opinion looks better as it ages.

This belt is super, and I would heartily recommend it.

Had scoured the stores looking for a belt that was not cheaply made, looked good, and would hold up to abuse I seem to give clothing. This is one of those, a fine belt.

I refused for a long time to pay for a quality belt. I finally broke down and purchased a Better with Age belt. Now I am wondering why I waited so long. Comfortable good looking belt of high quality material and workmanship.

After hearing how great Duluth Trading Company's product quality and customer service was I figured I would give them a try. I needed a new belt and because belts are really good at taking a beating I figured it would be a great test of product quality. As an avid outdoorsman and teacher my clothing get the ultimate test tromping through the woods and from my elementary students in the classroom. Because teachers are not the richest people in the world I am always looking for products that can serve a dual purpose for my wardrobe, durable for playing in the woods and classy enough to meet with a student's parents!

After doing my research and reading the comments on their belt options, more on this is a little bit, I decided on the "Get's Better With Age Work Belt!" Upon receiving the belt I was impressed right away, not only did it look way better than the image on the website but I could feel and see the quality of the craftsmanship and attention to detail. I realize I am talking about a belt here but this belt deserves the accolades. I have worn it everyday since I received it and am completely impressed and am already looking at getting the two other colors.
I am glad however that I read the reviews before I purchased though. In most of the moderate/negative reviews they stated that they with the belt sizing was better and recommended that you order the belt a size or two larger than your pant size so that you were not living on the first belt hole. I heeded their advice, I ordered one size larger than my pant size, and was pleasantly surprised at how well the belt fit and that I was using the third or fourth hole with plenty of room in either direction for Loss or Growth!
Because of the quality and craftsmanship that Duluth Trading Company puts into something like a work belt I am now a die-hard fan and will be coming to them for most of my wardrobe and accessories, well probably most everything to be honest, for the foreseeable future!

This belt surpassed my expectations. Excellent construction. Seriously, I have never found a belt of this quality hanging on a rack in any store. It is a beautiful piece of fine leather workmanship that I fully expect to last a lifetime.

Glad I paid attention to earlier reviewer as I ordered as size WAY too big. When it arrived, I compared the length of my Duluth 38" to my 34" docker's belt, they were pretty close. That said, it's a great belt, but make sure you order about 4" (2 sizes) bigger than you normally would.
