While I like the appearance of the leather suspenders, if you are not handy I would discourage you from purchasing them. The clasps are poorly designed and constructed. One fell apart the first time I put them on. Fortunately, I am handy with tools and was able to cobble the clasp back togehter.

These won't hold up your pants, I had to send two pairs back as the clasps either didn't close or flew apart, strongly recommend not ordering these as they are defective, should be removed from the catalog and website as well.

Purchased these suspenders for my teaching job. Wanted something stylish yet practical. Wasn't sure about the buckles, but they really work well and they provide a nice custom fit so my shirts don't come inching out as I stretch up or out. I move around a lot and they did not come unhinged from my pants. The leather straps really make it durable yet nice looking. Would buy again in a heartbeat. I bought both the black and brown versions.

Sending two pair of these back today, clips either won't close or fly apart, this is a quality control issue with the product. I strongly advise against ordering these.
