I bought these as a replacement for my 70's era version of these glasses when wrestling with the kids got a bit too rough, surviving the jungle to end their days in the den. They are still superior glasses. Glare cutting, color neutral and fashion insensitive. Not cheap, but worth it.

I wore them last friday on a job for the first time. They cut down on glare from the sun and the snow covered ground. They made a 13 hour day that much easier on my eyes. I like the idea of the glass lenses as, they should scratch less.

The pair I received have a sharp screw on one of the temple pieces so I'm not 100% sold on USA quality control. Also, as the frames are sort of flat, in some circumstances, I was getting reflections inside the lenses from things behind or to my side. Not the end of the world but not 5 stars either.

These sunglasses are easy to put on and take off one-handed, which is very convenient. Yet they stay on well, with the straight earpieces. If I'm in a hurry, I can just hook one of the earpieces in a handy loop or opening in my clothes or purse after removing the glasses. They come with a sturdy, compact case, which fits easily into an outer pocket of my purse. I like that colors are pretty true, compared to my former pair, which made the reds really bright, and other colors were skewed.

I have a habit of losing or breaking my sunglasses, so I typically get the cheap ones. However, I grew tired of shades that bend or break too easily, so I decided to give these a shot. These feel nice and solid compared to the flimsy plastic shades I used to buy. Additionally, the lenses are of higher quality, they provide great protection for my eyes, and they look cool, too.
