    COMMENTS:

I bought this because I read it would stop bleeding, it does. The dogs were going at it, stuck my arm in to stop them. They stopped, but my arm was bleeding, not enough for sutures, so I put this on, bleeding stopped. I still put gauze and tape over it. I'll get some more, to leave at the camp and for the grandkids.

        COMMENTS:

My wife works outdoors and has to work with her hands quite a bit...so she gets frequent hang-nails that she picks at. Then the adorable creature vocalizes her discomfort at bedtime...while gnawing incessantly at her affected digits, like a Beaver with a trapped paw. Love that girl. Anyway...this was supposed to be a stocking stuffer. But the other night, the love of my life's finger tips began to look like she'd done some poking in my wood-planer while it was running...so I tossed her the Beeswax Bandage and said "Merry Christmas, Wife!". Slept pretty good after that.

          COMMENTS:

As a cattle rancher on blood thinner I often bleed easily from cuts and scrapes working around barb wire, handling hay, working on equipment, etc. I pack the Beeswax Bandage with me to stop nuisance bleeding and protect the wounds. It works great. I don't have to worry about a band-aid staying on or pulling one off when I take my gloves on and off.

          Not what I expected...

          • Stops minor bleeding

          • Note "bandage" like

          Best Uses

          • Minor cuts

          COMMENTS:

I am giving this product the benefit of the doubt right now, as I have used it only once and it did seem to stop the bleeding of a small finger cut. However, it is not what I expected for a product advertised as a "bandage". I expected some super sticky, hard to remove "shield" and it is more like grainy "whipped honey" : it really doesn't stick very well, the bulk of it comes off easily although it does leave a oily residue. To be honest, raw Manuka Honey with a K Factor of at least 12 or more may be a better option.
