        parting is such sweet....

I've been using the same aluminum comb for (mumble mumble) years...okay, decades...the first thing in the morning, then ignoring my thatch for the rest of the day. This horn comb is an excellent portable size, does a good smooth job at other times, and does not feel like a curry comb. It almost begs to be used. Plus, it's classic, attractive, perhaps analogous to just happening to have on hand a Waterford fountain pen to jot notes with in the coffee shop.

This short comb was so nice (a gift for my husband), that I bought myself one, too! Hey, it's made in France, it's exquisite- they still make great quality goods in this world! Sturdy, even the small teeth don't look like they'd break. Anyway, it's a wonderful piece of simple, yet functional beauty. As an artist, I love that. As a person who cares about what I spend money on, I want things functional, STURDY yet beautiful and well made! Can't beat this. Nice way to make yourself feel good while you're looking good! Comes in a nice leather sleeve, too.

Bought this comb on a whim and do not regret it. The price was steep but you get what you pay for. This comb delivers. Works like magic laying down my hyper-static hair. May have more options now other than ball caps and shaving to the scalp, hoorah.

The tines feel good on my noggin, don't dig in and scratch like plastic combs as they are somewhat blunted (yet still efficient at scrubbin loose the old winter dandruff).

i've never had a horn comb, but i love it! it has no static and combs through wet and dry hair very nicely. i just wish the teeth were longer (they're 5/8"), but maybe i''m so used to a brush that i've forgotten how short comb-teeth are. i bought the 5" comb, and the picture of the 7.5" one looks like the teeth are just as short. regardless, i'm so happy about no static, that i'd certainly buy another one. i definitely recommend it if you have trouble with static in your hair.

It actually feels different at first going through my hair. It took some getting used to, but I noticed no more static electricity, and my hair lays down better.
