Our 8 month old Sheprador has had an antler before, but never loved them like she loves this one; seems to taste better. It has lasted quite awhile, but I will order another soon. Antlers are great because they don't come apart or stain like rawhide bones.

I got two of these because I have used elk horns before. I assumed large would be large. They are small. I have two goldens and a belgian. I ordered two.

I have had minature poodles and might use these for them, but possibly not because they were so small. They are very small and I have to watch them with the dogs to make sure they do not choke on them. They are both about an inch or less in circumference or less.

I think they need to rethink the description on these.

After reading most all reviews, most low ratings come from owners with large dogs that wear down the small size antler from enjoying a short lasting treat. I feel many owners would not mind paying more for a much larger (8-10") length antler. The natural nutrients are great and it seems ALL canines love it.

Our Pug just loves this Antler Chew. She received this as one of her Christmas presents, and she chews on it everyday. She gets great enjoyment and it keeps her busy when she gets bored. The Antler Chew bone is of great quality, is just the right size, and is showing almost no wear. The price is great, and my husband and I feel we made a smart purchase. I wanted to replace the nylabones my dogs currently chew because my husband thinks chewing plastic is bad for them. The antlers ARE very durable and don't splinter, but my dogs don't choose them. I have to bring the antler to them, or put it in their kennels when they are confined occasionally. Otherwise, they go looking for the Nyla bones instead.

This chew only lasted two weeks with my dog. Maybe it would be good for smaller dogs, but it said up to 80 pounds.
