This is a wonderful and waterproof dog jacket; it keeps my dog's back and sides dry in the dismal weather of the Pacific Northwest (rain, rain, and more rain). Also stays on well, looks nice and is fairly priced. The only change I would make would be to shorten the velcro girth (belly strap). It's too long, and the leftover material flops out to the side, not the most attractive look.

Bought two of these in large for my 75 lb. Rhodesian Ridgebacks who hate the cold but are very active and accompany us on snow shoe & xc ski trips here in NH. They have heavier winter jackets for extreme cold but I got these for the days when they need something lighter but still protective. Overall, a great jacket and very attractive and reasonably priced. The jacket is a little too short for a long bodied dog, and the belly strap could be wider, but overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I really liked this jacket and it looked good on my dog. It was easy to put on my dog and it stayed put while she jumped, played and ran after anything that caught her eye!

She ran through water, scurried through a tight hole. The jacket stayed put and was in good shape when she finished! LOVE THIS JACKET!!!

My partner and I have been searching the internet and pet supply stores looking for dog jackets and have been very dissapointed in what was available.
We move to our ranch in NE California this year where the tempretures can drop to near zero, rain and snow mix not uncommon. We have four dogs all different sizes. Finally (!) we discovered Duluth Trading dog jackets and ordered one. We were so pleased with it we immediately ordered three more. One of the large jackets was marked large but was actually a medium. When I contacted Duluth Trading they immediately shipped out the correct size at no cost to us. They even let us keep the medium!
I love Duluth Trading and will be buying all our work and winter gear there too as we love their human stuff as well!!

My dog seem to look forward to having it put on. Just takes a few second to attach. Stays on very well. My dog likes to race police cars, she has been clocked to 36 miles/ hr. Has not come off yet. Has only flipped up once when she had a strong tail wind.
Would like a little longer on sides, to help shed rain. Outer Material absorbs the rain but did not penetrate, so she was still dry after about an hour on a heavy rainy night.
The coldest night so far is about 20 degree F

We bought this for our German Shep, as we run with her and expected this spring-like weather to eventually turn into winter. On the few nights that it has been freezing, we used it on her. First off, she loves it. It is very easy to put on, and I assume it is comfortable, because she goes nuts when we break it out. The pockets on the side are very handy, allow us to store keys and protien bars, and stay closed the entire time.
