This is a excellent product for anyone working with their hands in the dirt. The design makes it such that you don't have to use much force to push the tool into the ground because it also uses gravity.

Arm + Combination Hoe= Hand Tiller

By Organic Gardener Joe

from Fort Worth, TX

Pros

  • Balanced weight
  • Chomps Through Clay Soil
  • Durable handle
  • Sharp
  • Slices Through Roots

Cons

  • none

Best Uses

  • Gardening
  • Landscaping

I recently bought this combination hoe to use in places where I couldn't use a full size hoe to prep and weed flower beds and garden beds. I was pleasantly surprised while using the hoe to dig around a pecan stump in my yard; the hoe bit through portions of the root system with ease and dug into the clay soil around it with very little effort. If you are looking for a handy combination hoe with a short handle, this is what you need, look no further!

It is great for breaking up hard clay dirt clods and for ripping out weeds. I can even hack into roots that are half an inch that i find when i am starting a new flower bed.
