I am a graduate student and I was looking for a bag that would let me do several things. 1) carry lots of books, stacks of papers to grade, and my lunch, all at once, 2) store extra pens and tools that are handy (I like to have a small maglite and multi-tool handy) 3) pull travel duty when I go conferences 4) look professional and hold up forever.

I have used this bag for nearly 3 years now and it certainly delivers in all those departments. I go to conferences with just this bag now, it carries all clothes and paper I need for about 3 days yet can still fit in carry on. I can carry multiple books, papers, and even laptops or tablets for commuting, and throw my lunch box on top of it all (and it still fits). And it is tough enough for everyday use and still look sharp.

However, it is not perfect. The strap is pretty wimpy, and if you overload it you will find yourself carrying by the handle more often than not. Also the D rings for the should strap don't stay in place, but they still work. Also, when its filled to the brim, it can be pretty bulky, and you might find yourself wishing you had just packed 2 smaller bags instead if you are in a crowed place.

overall, no regrets. I am definitely going to keep using this bag until the bottom falls out.

At least twice the capacity of a briefcase and great for traveling. The lack of dividers is a problem if you frequently want files, notebooks, calendars, laptops, etc. to stand upright, but for large capacity and infrequent briefcase use it is fine and doubles as a great overnight.

I have to be careful that I don't fill it up completely and make it to heavy. It has so much room that I am inclined to look for more stuff to fill it up. It is great.!

Great looking, very well made,used it as a blind bag to carry waterfowl hunting gear, very fine bag at a very reasonable price.

I have been using this as a large computer bag. This fits my computer, lunch, extra papers with room to go.
I wish it had a laptop sleeve or some type of separator in the middle, its just one giant compartment.
I dress up for work every day; typically no jacket, always a tie and this bag fits in just fine. This bag looks great with my firehose chinos also.
Women seem to pretty much love and but most men are indifferent and think it's too big.
I look forward to traveling with this, when I don't need my laptop. I can fit 3 days worth of clothes with some food and water even.

I love this bag. I like the way it looks. People always comment on it. It carries everything I need. For work it carries everything I need during the day -- computer, notepad, books, tablet, pens, lunch, water, tools, etc. For travel, I can carry plenty of clothes for a couple of days. It's a great bag. Maybe big for some people, but I love it.
