Men's Sizing Charts

Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

I normally wear large in men's shirts, almost with no exception. I phoned Duluth before ordering on-line and was told the Polo's fit a bit large. I ordered a Medium and am glad I did....it fits PERFECT. I am very impressed with the quality of fabric and the shirt, as well as product delivery lived up to my expectations in every way. I rarely give such a good report when I purchase products online.

Washes Poorly

Love the fit and thickness of the shirt.....compared to other brands...but the red and black both fade-ed noticeably after one or two washes. I like the shirts well enough that I will probably buy some other colors and hope they don't fade.

I'd been looking for polos using heavier material and more generous length than were to be found in stores, and when I found the Duluth Trading website ordered one and found it good for me and exactly as advertised. I know have eight of them and have tossed most of my other polos. Only downside has been all the ads for great sales, but nothing is ever available except in small sized. THAT'S DISAPPOINTING.

Very happy with these shirts. I have three. Frankly, when they arrived I was disappointed with the fabric. It is thicker than most polos which is why I wanted these. I loved the first Ralph Lauren polos for that. This fabric isn't as tightly woven and I was afraid the shape would disappear when washed. No problem. This isn't a small issue to me. The roll of the collar, that extra little fullness at the sleeve hem? Those are the details that make these NOT A TEE SHIRT with a collar. And they are cooler than those old polos.These look great. I am a big heifer, 320. The 3xl is perfect size wise.

A wonderful shirt that is of durable material. Unlike other similar shirts, this shirt will not "ride up" when reaching/stretching. Very comfortable!
One word of advice: My normal size was way too big! Had to exchange for smaller size (a relatively painless process). Duluth Trading handled the whole exchange with incredible efficiency!

I needed a professional, yet comfortable, shirt to wear under my lab coat for college. I am a big guy (Big and Tall 2XL). The shirt is sturdy, is holding its color and is wash and wear. Often big and tall shirts are not long enough or too long. This shirt is proportionate. I quickly ordered several more in different colors.

One of the shirts I bought had a small hole near a seam. The company quickly and effortlessly (I sent an e-mail) replaced the shirt and sent a pre-paid packing slip to have the faulty shirt returned. Thanks Duluth!
