Anyone who feels this is too expensive needs to find a lesser quality mail order store . . you get what you pay for and here, you're paying for extremely well constructed, rugged good looking merchandise! Have you ever noticed that you NEVER see "poorly constructed" . . "Seams coming apart after 2 weeks" . . . "Material lacks quality" . . "Poor craftsmanship"? You will not see those comments . . THAT is why you may pay a few dollars more !!

The cover is very durable. I have used the back seat cover for five years and three dogs and it is still in good condition, easy to clean and move around when someone needs to sit in the back seat.

This single seat edition is made of the same material and fit the passenger side seat in my Honda Ridgeline. I had to install a pair of grommets in the front in order to hold it in place with a pair of short bungies. I also used a longer bungie to hold it in a manner that the one strap does not. This complicates the use a bit, but makes it so that the dog doesn't just push it out of the way when ever he gets in or out of the seat. The dog is a 40# Springer Spaniel.

The cover would benefit by having four more attachment points, two at the front to hold it down over the front edge, and two more to hold it down at the back bottom of the seat where the seat back and seat come together. There is a strap in the general area, but it only holds the back of the cover against the seat back and is too high to hold it down when anything is used to hold the seat part down in front.

All in all, it is about as good as I could find to keep the underlying seat clean and undamaged, but it requires some work to be completely usefiul and not slide all over the place. Perhaps a litle dog wouldn't move it around so much.

We don't buy these because of pets, we buy them because of dirty jobs. They are perfect for protecting seats from dirty guys climbing in and out of the truck all day. We have bought covers from Duluth before, and these are better this time. They seem to be a slightly different material that curves more nicely around the seat and doesn't move when getting in and out of the vehicle.

Pricey but worthwhile. Great saver of leather seats. Easy to install. My wife installed both in a short time. I never thought she could do it. A testimony to easy installation. Very durable. She mentioned how thick and tough the material / a much better quality than anything we have ever had previously.

I live in the Seattle area with two 100-lb long-haired, active dogs - a real mess in the wet months - & needed seat covers that were waterproof & rugged. These fill the bill. Other reviewers commented negatively on using a Velcro strap to secure the back of the seat cover but I find this a plus since it can easily be undone to allow the cover to flip to the back of the car seat quickly when a human passenger gets in & wants to uncover & sit on a clean seat. And as other reviewers mentioned, although they cover the seat bottom, the covers do not always stay in place when my dogs scooch around on the car seats. the covers need to have ties to secure them - easily added with some Velcro loops & a sewing machine.

I installed these seat covers in the front of my truck and the matching deluxe seat saver in the back. I am very pleased about how durable they are. The stand up to my dogs who are enthusiastic travelers. Lily has put holes in every other cover ever, EXCEPT these. They work well.
