i've never had a horn comb, but i love it! it has no static and combs through wet and dry hair very nicely. i just wish the teeth were longer (they're 5/8"), but maybe i''m so used to a brush that i've forgotten how short comb-teeth are. i bought the 5" comb, and the picture of the 7.5" one looks like the teeth are just as short. regardless, i'm so happy about no static, that i'd certainly buy another one. i definitely recommend it if you have trouble with static in your hair.

A very good comb

It actually feels different at first going through my hair. It took some getting used to, but I noticed no more static electricity, and my hair lays down better.
