This backscratcher is lightweight, yet durable. Beautiful design for such a random item...my neighbor friend came over and noticed my gift from my sweetheart,now she will be ordering one for her husband come Father's Day.

This thing is heavy-duty, quality, and oh-so-effective! It's strong enough to really bear down and get those deep-down itches without even bending or bowing. The leather-wrapped-and-sewn handle is very comfortable as well.

It's lasted a year without fault, never wavering in its duty. At least, until today, when it broke! I want to be clear, I do not attribute this at all against the back-scratcher. I watched it fall and it seemed to hit the marble floor teeth-first, concentrating the impact on the neck, where it broke.

I do not say this to denigrate this amazing back-scratcher. I am simply advising caution. Naturally, I always try to take care of my things, and it bothers me when people don't do the same. Just because something is well-made and is made with quality and craftsmanship, doesn't mean that they can be treated cavalierly.

This product is well made and long enough to reach even the most hard to reach spots. The "claw" is perfect as you can apply as much pressure as you want and it won't irritate the skin. I don't have to worry about this one breaking. I plan on purchasing several more for gifts.

I gave this back scratcher as a gift and it was a hit, especially for those 'hard to reach' places that can't get enough scratching! Solid piece of hard wood. Definitely would order for others.
