By Randolph the vineyard tender

from Clovis, CA

Verified Buyer

Pros

  • Heavy duty
  • Very easy to use
  • Well Made

Cons

    Best Uses

    • Weeding

I was looking for a way to weed home vineyards and this is the best tool I have found, it works with little effort. My girlfriend tried it and liked it so much that I was told it was staying at her house.

    Good Solid Tool

    By Gene

    from Somerton, AZ

    Verified Buyer

    Pros

    • Heavy Duty Blade
    • Solid Wood Handle

    Cons

    • Can't think of any

    Best Uses

    • Chooping Roots
    • Chopping Roots
    • Chopping Weeds
    • Clearing Weeds

This is a heavy duty tool, with a substantial handle of large diameter. The blade is 1/4 inch thick and wraps around the handle where it attaches with a large hex headed screw. The weight of the blade and handle help you put some momentum and force behind it, but it isn't overly heavy. It's like a long handled axe with the head rotated 90 degrees. You can sharpen it with a file and a stone. I've been looking for a tool just like it and I wasn't disappointed when I got it.
