Comments about Balsa Wood Airplanes (Squadron of 12):

had these planes in the early 1950s.Havn't yet seen
grandson playing with them. One set of the planes were not made in the usa as advertised in the catalog.I like that the catalog says "Imported".
It would be better if the country of origin was identified.I don't mind buying your items if they are from some countries.

Got these for my grandson, and don't know how he received it. Suspect he'll enjoy it greatly once he realizes what it is.

Comments about Balsa Wood Airplanes (Squadron of 12):

As soon as I saw these planes, which hark back to my childhood of fifty years ago, I knew I had to get them for my six and three year old kids. We dropped these into each stocking, and the kids wents nuts in anticipation of using them the next day. They were particularly interested in seeing them put together. And as I remember as a child, the straight glider seems to work the best, and the propeller version never seems to go that far. Still, the kids had a blast throwing them around the back yard. My three year old son made the mistake of hitting his mid-air with a stick, which quickly disabled the plane. However it went back together with Elmer's, much to his delight. Certainly a worthy purchase as a nostalgia item, and the kids have enjoyed them. Nice to have a handful of them in the event some break.

Comments about Balsa Wood Airplanes (Squadron of 12):

the kids got a couple of these from a festival we visited this fall and loved them (and destroyed them) so much that we thought we'd get some more. duluth had the best deal, so we bought the squadron and everyone in the family, even the baby, got two. we've flown them all, saw some crash and burn, lost a few at sea, and had to send the five-year-old on a couple recovery missions over the back fence, but it was hours of family fun on Christmas afternoon. Will purchase again!

These are a ton of fun, my kids love throwing them around the yard. The wind-up propeller planes didn't work as well as the gliders but are still fun.

I brought two packs of these when we went to visit my brother who has three children under the age of 6. The kids and adults had a ball! They don't last all that long, but we had plenty of parts to keep 'em flying for days. There was balsa wood all over the yard when we were finished, but who cares? Huge fun!
