My husband is a retired coach/teacher who is currently a certified starter/judge for Track & Field meets. I bought these socks as a gift. He loves that perspiration penetrates to socks, not to shoe, especially during hot temperatures in South Texas. According to him, these are the best quality and comfort sock for standing/walking during track meets and coaching. He wants more. Mil gracias for making these socks in the USA!

I like these socks. The only dis I have with them is they are a little thick for the tennis shoes I normally wear them with. After the first wash some of the problem went away. Time will tell how they hold up but so far so good.

Socks slipped around on foot. Had to wash them first then they fit great I am happy with them. I will buy more later.

These are nice thick socks that provide plenty of cushion.
I also bought a couple pair of Duluth Trading's "Heavyweight Coolmax Socks." These socks are a nice cheaper alternative to the "Coolmax Socks" however these socks do not come up the ankle as high. They still should be OK to wear with a 8" or 9" work boot though.
I wear a shoe size 13. My experience in buying socks at other places is that when I buy socks according to my size I end up with the heel of the sock about at my ankle so I ordered size large instead of XL and the the fit is very comfortable which is why I listed these as "feels too big".
Other than than the aforementioned Heavyweight Coolmax Socks" these are the best socks I have ever owned.
