Great Wool socks are hard to find, these are roomy not tight anywhere, easy on and off. Cushy with thicker soles and heels for walking comfort. Socks have thinner fabric on top of foot and ankle that does not impede getting shoes or boots on. I got a brown pair for work and would love to see these solid colors come back. More black, brown, dark green, dark grey and navy blue for work (i.e. colors that blend well with everyday pants).

I ordered these in black to wear every day. They have a nice cushioned sole, and keep my toes drier than acrylic socks. I think they could come up a little higher on the calf, but OK so far. They wash well - I turn them inside out and do not use the dryer.

I only wear smartwool socks. Iam on my feet all day and often in and out in changing tempatures. Sometimes I think they wear out too quickly but that is probably because they are the only socks I pull out of the drawer so I am just hard on them.
