I use the hat to keep my head and eyes shaded, outside in the Florida sun. In that regards, it's quite possibly the best designed hat I've ever owned. The Coolmax headband keeps me from being too warm, and the overall look is a classy one. The Brim is nice and large, and makes up rather well for what my prescription sunglasses don't cover. The black underside of the brim helps accentuate the protection and eases any stress on my eyes.
For the not so good, well, this hat looks almost too good to use in a working environment, although I don't doubt that it would survive being abused. I wasn't a fan of the buckle in the back either, because it was too loose/too tight until I broke it in at the tighter end of things. It'll stay on my head at 75 on my motorcycle and yet it doesn't feel like it's squeezing my head too hard. The Corduroy fabric might be a bit too heavy for summer usage too, depending on how much hair you have.

This cap's size matches its' cut. It doesn't look like a small cap on a big head. It has style and will look good when you go out if you are a hat wearer.

I wear this cap all the time, for all casual occasions in cold weather.
The main trouble with this cap is the leather bill. It scratches & scuffs very easily.

I wear this lid around town. Looks great with whatever I'm wearing. The extra large brim provides good shade from the merciless glare of supermarket lighting. Also provides good rain avoidance and shelter from the searching eyes of middle-age women. The adjusting buckle strap in the back is nicely done. Brown corduroy is a handsome look and unique, as far as I can tell. You could buy a lot worse hat for this money. A lot worse.
