Comments about Duluth Trading Men's 1 pr. Ironclad Cold Condition Gloves:

Once your hands warm up in the gloves they stay warm all day. Good for doing any kind of construction or farm work if they stay together. I have bought aapproximately 20 pairs of thes gloves and go through around 3-4 pairs a year doing light construction work but keep buying them because my hands stay warm.

These gloves are warm and durable. My only complaint is I want more flexibility. They do break in a bit with us, but not enough.

Comments about Duluth Trading Men's 1 pr. Ironclad Cold Condition Gloves:

These were bought because of the large size they came in,for our son-in-law who has very beefy fingers. We were in hopes that it would give him a pair of gloves that he could wear in the winter. Unfortunately, he was unable to move his fingers as the gloves were just too small in the fingers. They had to be returned. We have no idea if the gloves were great gloves otherwise.

I have have bought many pairs of these for my son and son-in-law. They both work outside all winter here in the norhteast US. They do wear out too fast. My son-in-law's were rags after one winter. My son can get two years out of them. He asks for them as he can work with them on. No othe glove has let him do this.

My son is studying to be an electrician. Last winter he was working on a job in the mountains of New Mexico where it was very cold. I bought him some of these gloves, and while they took a lot of abuse from running heavy wires and electrical pipes, etc. his hands stayed warm. He almost wore them out so I got him another pair this year. Thankfully, most of the time this winter he is inside, but when he has to be outside I know his hands will stay warm and he can still do his work because these gloves are made for working.

Comments about Duluth Trading Men's 1 pr. Ironclad Cold Condition Gloves:

These gloves will be warm and dry for anyone who does not need to do any significant work wearing them. I do a lot of farm work that requires taking the gloves on and off frequently and I have found that the inner fleece lining pulls out very easily when your hands get sweaty. It is frustratingly difficult to get the fingers back up into the rest of the glove, resulting in an uncomfortable lack of original fit. Do this ten times a day, and this glove does not perform well or make me very happy. Also, I am concerned about the long-term durability of these gloves. I wore the first pair I bought for two days while working at our farmers market, and did no outside farm work during that time. After those two days the seam at the base of my middle and ring fingers was already losing its thread and pulling apart. I will say that I appreciate that another pair was sent out immediately by the warranty dept with no questions asked, and this type of customer service will give this company another chance for me. But with all the many seams, and changes of material at seams, coupled with the liner problem described above, I am skeptical that just sending a new pair out right away will help these gloves make it through one winter of fence moving, hay feeding, animal handling, and firewood cutting. At over $30.00 a pair [...], I would want this glove to last a long time, and doubt that it will do that.

Comments about Duluth Trading Men's 1 pr. Ironclad Cold Condition Gloves:

When I was offered free shipping on my next order for writing a review on my husband's new gloves,I thought it might be a little too soon. He had only had them for a couple of weeks and it is just beginning to get cold in New England. Being in maintenance, he is hard on clothes and we are thankful for Duluth's clothing guarantee. He had returned two pair of gloves in the past two years when he decided to upgrade to the Ironclad ones. He was using the leaf vacuum/grinder which sucks the leaves up and grinds them into mulch. He had one of his gloves in his hand while trying to get a leaf jam out of the hose. The vacuum sucked his glove right into the grinder. He was very upset since it was only the second day he had worn them. When he took the machine apart, he found the glove on the other side of the grinder, still in perfect condition. I think this will be the last pair of work gloves we have to buy for him.

These gloves are NOT good in cold weather.
Fingers wore out palm side at the knuckles.
              Both left and right hands.
Good gloves for the homeowner but won't hold
              up on the job site.

Comments about Duluth Trading Men's 1 pr. Ironclad Cold Condition Gloves:

Bought these for riding in the cold and rain in Seattle. They are not warm below 40F while riding. As in my fingers froze and it wasn't raining. Damp yes, but rain no. They are waterproof, as evidenced that my coat sleeve drained into the glove and it filled up holding the now warm water next to my fingers. (I don't really mind that as bicycling in the rain is not a dry activity.) But they are hard to dry out, being waterproof. I do wear them in the 40->mid 50's rain. But "cold condition" is a misnomer.
