Men's Sizing Charts

Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

Very warm, but I had to return 2 pairs because the corners of the pockets are fraying. Color faded a lot using mild soap. I have to overlook some flaws as the warmth can't be beat. Needs dark colors for work like black!

Gift for the 90 year old

As soon as these pants arrived I could tell the quality was there and very stylish. I love to buy my 90 year old farmer father new and different clothes. He is extremely picky and set in his ways and doesn't like anything but the 40 year old clothes in his drawer. He is skinny as a rail and I wanted something tough for farm work and to keep him warm. These pants fit the bill. Of course his complaints were rolling in but it didn't stop him from wearing them and I seem to recall a compliment or two so I know he secretly loves them. I just ordered the fiex fire hose pants for him and can't wait for his comments.

These are the pants to die for. They're comfortable, easy to move in, super durable, good looking and warm. Days and nights spent in the cold, feeding the animals, out on the tractor or working in the wood; these pants are the perfect selection for cold weather use. I wake up, check the outdoor temps and go for my fleece lined firehose pants.

The "firehose warranty" makes these pants unbeatable and economical.

Every thing is good just need more colors. I really do not like the color brown. . I like black, blue just dark colors.

See my previous review about these pants. Summary: great pants, pricey but probably worth every penny. Upgraded from 4 stars to five. Still wish they came in ORANGE.

Since then, I've worn 'em daily to work on a construction site and washed them quite a few times over several weeks. No noticable wear and tear. There might have been a tiny bit of shrinkage; nothing obnoxious, and easily compensated for by the initial "generous" cut.

With such thick fabric, wrinkles after washing are pretty much a non-sequitur...but the pants come out of the dryer smooth and ready to wear. A good thing, really, 'cause they're too thick to iron!

I'm taking advantage of Duluth's kind offer me of free shipping on my next order in return for this review (and they require me to disclose that), but it's a great opportunity to close the open ending of my previous review: yes, they're still great pants after washing.

PS: The product description fails to mention two hidden pockets! One tiny little thing is merely a divider inside the huge right-side "main" pocket. The other is on the inside of the pants, sewn to the left-side "main" pocket. It has no flap but a velcro closure, reachable by sliding the pants off or reaching thru a loose waistband (awkward) or an unzipped fly (embarrassing). Don't expect to fetch anything from it in public, but I suppose you could keep something small (and secure) like a passport or travel money in it.

Comfortable pants, potentially durable

These are a truly comfortable pair of pants.
The material is soft, but has the appearance of solid, tough wearing life.
Side pockets are truly huge and deep --no tight bulges-- and are made of thicker material than typical work wear.
Some of the tool pockets are a bit small, and the loops hug tools a bit too tightly.
The fleece lining is both warm and soft, a pleasure on a cold day in the wind.
The sizing is generous; I can slide them off without opening button or fly, but a belt takes care of that issue. Don't order any bigger than you need.
Boot-cut legs fit inside boots (or outside), but tend to belly out above the boot.

Love 'em. Wish they were a bit less costly, and were available in ORANGE!

Quality Beyond the Retail Outlets!

You can't find this quality over the counter in local retail stores. Cargo pants I have bought in the past from JC Penney, et al, are just plain garbage. I plan on ordering the non-fleece style pants for non-Winter work. These just feel durable.
