I like that it can be used with different hats.

You're not going to the most styling dude on the site, but this is the best neck and ear protection I've found. Doesn't stick to your neck and allows a breeze to get to your neck. Best part is it stays place in even the windy conditions we have on the coast. Cleans up easy in the sink - just wring it out.

Being lightweight means that it's subject to being moved by relatively light breezes and so does not provide consistent coverage from the sun. That same lightweight makes it less of a burden to wear. I simply wear a hat with a wide, all around brim when wind is an issue.

Keeps the sun off the back of my neck whether I'm fishing or working in the yard. In the winter, I turn it around, pull it down to protect my throat and neck when moving snow.

we have only had sun a few days since i got that cape but it seems to do what is required of it .I have no complaints as of now

I used this with my favorite backpacking hat for 2 weeks in the Sawtooths Id. It stayed put in high winds, blocked the sun on snow,and has a velcro fastener in the rear which allows you to fasten to your own hat for extra security.

I have several ball caps that I wear when boating, fishing, biking, etc.
I also have a wide brimmed hat but it is not always easy to use or carry along, so this product provides the sun protection I desire with any ball cap. Wife say's it looks "nerdy", but it is functional.

Going to the Dermatologist every six months to freeze off sunburnt skin lesions is no fun. When this arrived I took it to my doctor, and he wrote down where to get, etc, so he can recommend it to his patients. Save yourself pain, sunburn, and doctor visits for only a few bucks!

I bought this CapCape to keep the sun off my neck and face while fishing and hiking. It works better than my wide brimmed hat because the sun still gets around the brim - but not with this sunshade. It's a a snap to put on, stays in place and comes off when I don't need it - like walking around town.

I live at altitude in Arizona and am a long-distance bicyclist. This device covers not only the back of my neck but, importantly, my ears. My only request would be that it were made of a bright color to further cause drivers to see me.
