a good summer hat

I use the hat mainly for outside work. But the hat seems to be for anytime wear also. Looks and fits well.

Always looks good no matter how rough it is handled.

Wear it all the time doing yard work. Much better than a ball cap as it covers your ears and keeps the rain off your face.

I got this for hubby to use when working outside. He had a hat but complained that his hair was always wet. This had solves that problem and he says it is very comfortable. He loves it.

I purchased hat for sun protection, I'm bald. The flimsy mesh allows crown of hat to set on head. My concern is heat build up from lack of breathing as the crown sets on head and sun penetration through the mesh. I guess I thought 50 SPF on the brim would mean thought was given to protection and ventilation for the top.

Liked the hat! Sorry to see it go into the lake! Even more sorry not be able to recover the hat. It blew of in a 35 MPH gust into a golf course reclaimed water lake that was deep. I did not want to venture in for a try at recovery. Great hat but not worth the unknown reclaimed water lake hazard. After all, no 2 stroke penalty for losing your hat.
