Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

You need a cool weather version of this vest, wind resident with a button up collar, but not insulated and room fir a fleece jacket under it. Have the same pocket layout. You could also line the hand warmer pockets with fleese.

I am a building Engineer by trade. I need to carry a lot of items on me. I wear a warm vest in the cooler months, and felt lost during the warmer months, until I found this vest. Have had many compliments in looks, style, and function.

I've been buying this vest for years. I wear it 7 days a week, 5 days at work as parts consultant for a car dealership. Best vest I ever used under work conditions. I use most of the pockets to carry pens, tools, personal junk with room to spare. Just bought two, in brown and khaki. It has a wear life of 18-24 months.

I really appreciate all the pockets, the lightweight and the side vents. It is comfortable to wear. Some of the inside pockets are a little too small to be useful though.

I wear the vest at work as it allows me the storage space I need to carry all the items that my work requires. Here in west Texas, the summers are brutal and the lightweight of the vest doesn't increase to my body heat.

When flying, just put all your "stuff" in the vest and simply put the vest on the inspection belt and "fly through TSA."

I've been looking for a vest I could use at work. Most vests I found were for cold weather. This one has the mesh and today it came in handy. I was a little leary on the hook and loop fasteners and I was right. Velcro or hook & loop whichever you want to call it is ALWAYS stronger than the stitching. The day the vest arrived the right chest pocket fastener stitching gave in to the strength of the Velcro. Still, I would and have recommended this product to friends and co-workers.

This vest has proven invaluable in my new job that involves a lot of walking up and down stairs, through tunnels,etc. The job requires that I carry a cell phone and I prefer to also keep an assortment of other tools with me. This vest provides plenty of places to keep the things I take everywhere such as writing tools, some 3 X 5 cards I use for taking notes, a couple different types of light gloves, a small flashlight, and a small adjustable wrench. And there's still plenty of pockets available should I need them.
The only minor problem I've had with the vest is that following the sizing chart the vest I ordered is probably one size too large. . I don't see this as a major issue, though. When the cooler weather comes, I'll probably wear this on the outside of my jacket instead of inside. That'll keep the tools a bit handier anyways.
